1. PAYMENT RECORD SCOPE

This document records the payment event, balance, instruction, or arrangement actually stated. It does not convert a receipt into a ledger, a payment plan into a statutory notice, or payment instructions into authority to require a payment method or fee that the lease or governing law does not permit.

2. NO AUTOMATIC WAIVER OR DEADLINE PAUSE

A hardship request or voluntary payment arrangement should state what the parties actually agree to. Sending a request, accepting a partial payment, or discussing installments does not automatically waive a balance, alter a statutory notice, dismiss a court case, or pause a deadline unless the governing law or a legally effective agreement provides that result.
