Georgia does not impose a general statewide percentage cap on ordinary private residential rent increases. Georgia DCA's official handbook states that a tenancy-at-will requires 60 days' notice before a landlord changes the rent, while rent during a fixed lease is governed by the lease and may change during the term only when the lease provides for it.
